Mihai Marin – Industrial Engineering Manager, Flex
Mihai Marin graduated from Politehnica University Timișoara in 2006 and completed his Master’s degree in 2008. With 20 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, he has spent the last 8 years at Flex, where he currently serves as Industrial Engineering Manager.
His experience includes manufacturing process optimization, standardization, line balancing, capacity planning, factory layout and process simulation. His current focus is on advancing Industrial Engineering through digitalization, automation and innovative manufacturing concepts.
At ISETC event, he will present the Flexible Backend Cell, a Flex Timișoara project recognized with the 2025 Kepner-Tregoe Excellence Award for the Utilization of KT Process in Manufacturing Operations, selected from more than 100 submissions worldwide and recognized as a global benchmark in its category.
