Radu Preda has built his career in the semiconductor and embedded systems industry through Motorola, Freescale Semiconductor, and NXP Semiconductors, holding various management roles and contributing to embedded systems development, real-time applications, innovative products, and new business initiatives.
In the last two years, he has increasingly focused on a broader challenge: helping strengthen Romania’s microelectronics ecosystem across the semiconductor value chain. As Manager of Partnerships under Subsidy Projects at NXP Semiconductors Romania, he works at the intersection of industry, academia, and collaborative R&D initiatives, supporting the development of national capabilities in microelectronics and Romania’s contribution to Europe’s semiconductor ambitions.
